Samsung WB700 Compacta [Primeras impresiones][
Además de la NX11, en la pequeña mesa de presentación de productos de Samsung hemos podido ver las novedades en cuanto a modelos compactos se refiere. El primero de ellos, el SH100, llega con conectividad WiFi para poder compartir las fotografías realizadas a través de servicios como Facebook o con un simple correo. Además, otra de las novedades incorporadas en esta pequeña cámara es la posibilidad de realizar un disparo remoto a través de un teléfono Android, una función que no hemos podido probar en nuestra primera toma de contacto, aunque si hemos visto la nueva interfaz integrada.
Por otro lado, la WB700 confirmaba nuestras sospechas del grosor oculto, ya que ese bisel no quedaba visible en ninguna de las fotografías oficiales de la marca y sólo hemos tenido que sostenerla en nuestras manos para percatarnos de ello. El zoom óptico de 18 aumentos es otro de causantes del sobrepeso, aunque a fin de cuentas se agradece bastante disponer de dicho rango focal. En cuando a la videocámara, la pequeña HMX-Q10 resulta muy ligera al agarre, algo más o menos esperado, ya que no dispone de zoom óptico y toda su carcasa está fabricada con plástico. In the previous review, I looked at the appearance and design of the NX100. It was quite interesting that some people had a good impression, while others had a bad impression by their preference. i-Function
Started with the NX10, Samsung released the cheaper model NX5. After the NX5, Samsung released the NX100 which is a compact digital camera style with 2 lenses different from the NX10 and NX5. The sensor used in the GX-20 has been adopted in the NX100 with a little tuning, and becomes a simple model by taking out the viewfinder and the strobe. However, for better user interface, buttons have been rearranged and Smart Dial which was applied in the WB1000 is also supported. The i-Function lens is also provided for user convenience. The i-Function will be handled later.

Upgraded to the Limit of a Compact Camera, WB2000
Samsung Electronics has provided the author of this review with the mentioned digital imaging device.
Recent compact cameras have been updating so quickly. Every time a new mode comes out, new technology has been applied and the performance has been upgraded. I found a good compact digital camera, and it’s the WB2000 from Samsung. The performance and functions are better than high end digital cameras. It has great quality, action panorama, 10 shots per sec, HD movie recording, Smart Auto, My Style, Smart Filter, and Beauty Shot. I strongly recommend this as a high end digital camera. However, it’s quite expensive. Let’s take a look.
01. Prologue
Recent cameras have been developing as technology progresses. Of course, it’s not as great as DSLR cameras, but compact cameras are being changed into great compact cameras from just a compact digital camera. The WB2000 shows just how the evolution has happened. As a compact camera, it supports M mode, RAW file format, ultra high speed shooting, action panorama, and AMOLED with vivid visions. Let’s take a closer look at the WB2000 with its various functions and photos.
02. Appearance
Exclusive battery & Convenient SD™ / SDHCI used the exclusive Samsung battery, but due to the 3” AMOLED, the battery died quickly. Especially, when recording a movie, it spent a lot of the battery. However, it was enough for 1 day of shooting.
Compared to other compact cameras supporting Micro SD, it uses standard SD. I like the compatibility of the SD card.
03. Main Functions
Action Panorama
The WB2000 supports the Action Panorama function that takes consecutive shots while the shutter is pushed and the camera is moved, and it’s quite interesting. Normally, panorama photos should be edited with editing software such as Photoshop after taking a lot of shots with a tripod. And actually, this can’t be done by beginners.
However, the WB2000 supports the easy, simple and fast panorama function, and it supports 4 way (Up/Down/Left/Right) shootings.

05. Conclusion
In a word, I met a great compact camera. When using the WB2000, you can’t ignore a compact camera any more. Of course, having great functions doesn’t mean a good camera, because a good camera needs to take a good picture. The WB2000 has both modern and classic design, high level functions such as M mode, convenient functions such as Smart Auto, Smart Filter, and action panorama, and the results were wonderful.
There were some weaknesses. The battery was out a little too fast compared with the previous cameras, due to the 3” AMOLED screen, and the quick setting dial should have been more firm, because I turned it without realizing it.
I think recent compact cameras are really great. I hoping that there will be a compact camera as great as a DSLRs in the near future.
