Do you remember orangutan photographer Nonja? She’s back.

Last year, Nonja the orangutan photographer taking self-portraits with ST1000(CL65) was an issue. You can check out the previous post about Nonja, click here.

She has put her pictures up for auction on eBay for her relatives in her friends in Borneo.
The artistic ape’s handiwork has been viewed by tens of thousands of fans on Facebook after keepers at Vienna’s Schoenbrunn zoo in Austria gave her ST1000(CL65) and set up a Facebook account for her. Snaps from ST1000(CL65) are uploaded instantly over a Wi-Fi link.

The best 20 pictures of Nonja had been had been unveiled in the zoo and the framed works printed on canvas were being sold online on eBay.

The total income of auction achieved €2,539 and the highest prices was €361. The money from the auction will be donated to protecting the habitat of wild orangutans in Borneo

NX10 TV commercial was unveiled-2-

Han Hyo-joo, one of the top celebrities in Korea, took the commercial in Sydney, Australia, January.

With a beautiful scenery of Sydney and the background music ‘Bottle It Up” by Sara Bareilles which makes feel lively, the commercial represents that camera captures the daily life to create the new moments and also emphasises the slogan of NX10 “Why Capture? Create!”.

Han Hyo-joo has given a fabulous performance in dramas and movies, and attracts public attentions being a model in residence of Samsungimaging.

Participating in the Asia for Animals Conference

On this post I’ll review the Asia for Animals Conference that held place from January 15^th to the 19^th in Singapore. KAWA was the only organization in Korea that was invited to this conference. :)

This is the walk in Prama Hotel where the conference took place.
This conference was an important and meaningful occasion where all the animal activists from each country come together as one.

After the workshop on the first day, the second day was all about presenting the activities. Representative Hae Kyung Jo of KAWA is presenting the results of the farm animal welfare campaign.

On the fourth day the director of KAWA, Gail Jun, also presented on the anti-dog meat campaign.
The four days passed by like this; by presenting the activities and results of animal issues that took place in each country and discussing the tasks that are needed to be solved.

Starting at visiting Acres, the Singaporean wild animals protection organization,

We visited Sungei Buloh Wetlands that is nicely maintained as the nature itself and saw the animals freely living there happily.

And lastly we visited the animal protection organization SPCA’s shelter.

Animal abuse and imprudent use of animals are happening here and there all over the globe, even right at this moment.
We are animals called human that developed the most sensibility out of all.
How about using this sensibility for the vulnerable and pitiful animals that can’t change if it is not for us?

This is the beautiful river by the hotel that we stayed in Singapore and the street cat brothers who didn’t take warning on people and comfortably relaxed. Dreaming of a world where human and animals can peacefully coexist, I finish this post.

I have two lenses: a pancake – I love it! and 18-55mm. ASAP I will try to buy a telephoto lens.

NX10 is very fast in all kind of functions – ON/OFF, focusing, saving files, preview etc.

Using of camera – is really simple, I looked in the manual because I did not know how to focusing at video mode – DoF preview button turns it on.

I think the camera is suitable for each level of advancement.

If you are an rookie use SMART is fast and do almost all for you :)

If you are advanced – you will be very satisfied with the number of available functions.

This little lens is really good. Beautifully grabs focus and makes a beautiful depth of field.

Imagine, a popular monthly magazine about technology, entertainment and culture with a circulation of 100.000 copies per month in Brazil, selected the Samsung ST550 as gadget of the month in January, 2010.

Imagine Magazine is a monthly publication of TVA, cable TV operator in Brazil, t hat shows to its public and readers, interesting content and news regarding technology and internet. It highlights tendencies, innovations, findings, worldviews, predictions and appoints as gadget of the month, products that stand out from the others in their categories, recommending them to its public.

The magazine featured January, 2010 Edition à Gadget of the month ST550, and the title of the article is Easy Selfshots.

The article introduced about the functions of ST550 such as the usage of the Dual LCD which is perfect for selfshots, funny animation to get children’s attention, and countdownt, and other features were mentioned.
