The Color of Snow

It snowed hard. All the village is buried in a snowdrift. A deathlike silence has been settled down. I didn’t hesitate to go out with my camera. I felt an agreeable weather on the chicks. The sky was as bright as in the springtime owing to the color of snow. Lovely tall trees and gray roofs are all covered with dazzling white. I stepped on the cushiony ground. The snow was barely melted under my shoe. I just continued to walk down until the end of the village.

On the way, I found autumnal colors, that are embroided on snowy field. Red maple leaves seemed like fresh starfishs on a white-sand beach. I was accompanied by a little dog, which was so curious about the snow. The dog, in a sweat, rolled over and over on the snow, and got a lot of snowflakes on her hairs.

After a while, I felt my toes numb with cold. I have been caught in melting snow for over an hour. It was getting dusky, but the color of snow kept little shimmer above the horizon. I loved that lucid light, which was sat on by the snow. I felt even myself clear somehow or other. That was a snowy day with a heartfelt pleasure.

Friday Night Fun

What are fun things to do on friday night? When me and my friends were just student, almost single or part-time worker, we have usually made electronic music parties at home as often as in the yard. Now, we hardly see each other on weekdays, and even on weekend. Such a sad reality, but chances can always be made.

A new friday night has come with a glad call from my old friends, Guillaume and Raphaël. I joined them at “Lunapark”, a little amusement park temporarily opened at night. Colorful rights and excited screems were making a real friday night fun.

After midnight, we taked a rest in a poolbar near the park. We made four games during almost two hours. We all three together were totally absorbed in friendly feelings that night.

On the way back to home, I saw familiar faces of my town where nocturn stillness was stayed on. The bright moon and lonely throadlamps on streets were evoking different atmospheres.

The most exciting thing was still remained. That the weekend was only beginning!

The romantic nightscape of Europe

Paris, France

The early evening sky of Paris, France and the red car parked by Charles de Gaulle airport seemed to go so well together.

The outdoor restaurant by Seine River. My friends and I came here for dinner and the view only got more and more beautiful as it darkened. Seine River was running right by our side and if we looked up a little the fully lit Eiffel Tower was to be seen. It was all so romantic. Looking around, I could see a couple every ten seconds and watching them whispering love to each other in this romantic place, I thought to myself that I would one day come here again with my love. We did nothing but just watch Seine River and the Eiffel Tower with our heads propped on our chins. Not knowing that time was passing by, we just couldn’t get enough of it.

Prague, Czech

This is the picture that I took on the way to bridge Karluv Most, the place known to have the most beautiful night scene in Prague after visiting the new parts of Prague.

This place was the only light that came out of the dark alley. The place I had wanted to go because it somehow looked cozy and warm… But sadly I found it on the last day of my stay in Prague so I couldn’t go.

The big city Wien had a glamorous night look whereas Salzburg’s night was simple and sentimental, warm and sweet.

The night of Munich was full of the music from the streets. Thanks to the beautiful nightscape and the fabulous musicians, the night of Munich was a joy for my ears and eyes, and such a memory.

Street Artists

While traveling Europe, one of the scenes that come across the most is the artists on the streets. Dreams and passions are felt at the tip of their fingers. Also, I could come across Europeans enjoying that culture quite often. As for me, if I see a painting at a museum that I had already come across before I just take a photo in front of it and move on to the next one. So I just basically look around whereas the Europeans seem to carefully appreciate each and every piece that’s there. There are people who sketch a certain piece onto their notebook or those who try to relive the moment of the artist and look into how the art piece was produced. I would like to resemble their vision, their love for art.

Winner of ‘Observeur du Design Award’, Samsung C10!

On October 22nd, APCI(Agency for the Promotion of Industrial Creation) proceeded ‘Observeur du Design Award’ in Paris, France.

APCI is the group that France government built in 1983 for industry and culture of France. Purpose of this group is promoting French design in France and abroad. They also work for design schools and agencies in France to develope their design skills.

APCI holds ‘Observeur du Design Award’ every year to award to the most innovative designed product. And guess what? Samsung SMX-C10 camcorder won the 1st prize out of 1500 competitive products this year!

SMX-C10 camcorder was rewarded for strong brand visibility and contributing to educate the general public on design.

APCI also processed competition for ICSID (International Council of Societies of Industrial Design) label from June. 15 Samsung products received this label so they are now going to be displayed at the Cité des Sciences & de l’Industrie for 3 months, from October 2009 to February 2010.

Besides highly praising the Samsung WB1000(TL320), for its top-notch performance, Chasseur D’Image did not unstinting in Samsung’s praise by stating, that Samsung finally established itself among the top of digital imaging companies. As for the Samsung WB1000(TL320), Chasseur D’Image was amazed by the great product design, which also includes the attached AMOLED display. Furthermore, the review also emphasized the ease-of-use, resulting out of the smart-wheel. Chasseur D’Image also broke down the quality of each pictures in different ISO-setting, which proofed to be, as outstanding as the other components of the Samsung WB1000(TL320).

The Samsung WB1000(TL320), not only delivered very good results at low ISO-settings, but also impressed at high ISO-settings.
